Question:

Hi - can you fit any roof bars to the Flat 500l that has the glass panel roof not sun roof that opens? There are holes there and instructions in the manual on how to do it but then I read you shouldnt fix them to the models with glass roof panels.

Thule is a leading European roof rack maker who does extensive fit testing so I checked with them directly for a roof rack fit for the 2013-2019 Fiat 500L hatchback with the glass roof. My contact there confirmed their WingBar Evo rack system works for both types of glass roof on the 500L. I checked the online manual for the 2018 500L and it indicates a 110-lb weight rating for the roof. If your printed manual differs go by your manual instead of the online copy I reviewed.

For a black bar rack use parts # TH711420, # TH710501 and # TH145171. If you prefer silver bars then order parts # TH711400, # TH710501 and # TH145171.
