How Long Is the Cam on the Valterra Replacement Cam Lock for RV Hatch Doors
Updated 04/29/2019 | Published 04/26/2019 >
Question:
Hi It looks like the A522VP lock is the right length 1 1/8 width 5/8 - 3/4 diameter to replace the door locks on my ARE truck cap. Is the exposed metal part of the lock stainless steel? How long is the inside locking lever part? Can I get three of them keyed alike? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Valterra Replacement Cam Lock for RV Hatch Doors part # A522VP is zinc plated, not stainless steel. The cam portion is about 1-1/4" long although you could just reuse the cam you have now. These locks will all come with the same lock core number which is a 751.
