Question:
Looking to put this on a bobtail truck service truck. What is estimated time to install? How does this perform in mild windy conditions? Where is the motor? Is it reliable. Dont want to be on site and have a problem with it retracting. I see the notes about a 12V cordless drill. What is warranty on the motor?

Most people complete the install of awnings like the Solera 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334969-362243 you referenced in an afternoon. I'd set aside a few hours and as long as you have basic hand tools and mechanic skills you'd get it installed in a very reasonable amount of time. Now with wind you'd want to roll it up if it's gets too bad. If it's just breezy you'd be fine but if it's windy enough to knock a folding chair over it's time to roll it up. You'll have to use your best judgment here when trying to predict what the weather will do.
