Front Mount Receiver Trailer Hitch for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma
Updated 01/18/2012 | Published 01/15/2012 >
Question:
The header says its a front mount but the supporting verbiage says its a trailer hitch.inch I need a mount ON THE FRONT that would only require me to bolt it on and a winch to mount on it. Does this item fit the bill? I do not want to butcher up the front end to do this. Can you help? Do you have a series of photos of someone that has installed this item? I would like to see it installed before I commit to the $$ and the effort. Thanks

The Curt front mount receiver, # 31313, is a front mount receiver. You can also call it a trailer hitch even though it is at the front of the vehicle and not the back. As far as installation notes for this hitch, I show that no drilling is required or cutting of anything at the front of the truck for installation. The only modification is that the bumper end caps will have to be removed. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
We have not yet had the chance to install the hitch on a vehicle so we do not have pictures or a video. I did call my contact at Curt to see if they had pictures and they had only one that shows the hitch installed. I have included it for you.
