Question:
I thank you for your reply and it is very helpful. Could I use a 10 watt solar panel without problems. I have 6 batteries to charge and they will be hooked up in series and parallel as I said earlier. Will the solar panel you suggested or a 10 watt pab be able to maintain all 6 of the batteries

Since you have so many batteries to charge I'd go with a kit that has more charging potential like the Go Power Eco Solar Charging System with Digital Solar Controller # 34273837 that is rated for 20 watts charging. While this won't fully charge 6 depleted batteries it would do a much better job than a 2.5 watt charger. The solar panel is then 18-1/2" long x 13-9/16" wide x 1" deep.
For a 100 watt solar panel setup we have the part # 34272635 which has dimensions of 47-1/16" long x 21-7/16" wide x 1-3/8" deep. This will do an even better job and would be able to actually charge batteries beyond just maintaining ones that are already charged.
