Recommendation to Replace Coach 725-0001 Electric Step Assembly

Question:

I have a 2001 Holiday Rambler motorhome and need to replace the power entry steps. The original part number is 725-0001. I found a recommended 2-step replacement in your historical notes, but the rise of that part is 7 inches which is wrong. My steps are 24 x 10.75 with a rise of 8 inches. The mounting pattern is about 22 x 8.25 with a 9 inch option. I dont see mounting pattern listed on your specs. What part number would you recommend?

Based on my research the Lippert Kwikee 32 Series Electric Steps # LC372261 is the closest option we have available to your existing Coach model 725-0001 assembly. The mounting bracket does have an 8 inch x 22 inch bolt pattern and the steps themselves are 24 inches wide and 10-3/4 inches deep.

I checked with Lippert and while the Kwikee 32 Series is labeled as a 7 inch rise assembly in reality the actual distance from the bottom step to the top of the second step is 7-3/4 inches. We do not have a step assembly available that features both a matching bolt pattern to your brackets and a true 8 inch rise.

With all this in mind I do recommend the Lippert Kwikee 32 Series Electric Steps # LC372261 for your Holiday Rambler RV. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
