Are you asking if the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75034 will fit your 1972 Chevy C10/K10 Stepside? If so then yes, this trailer hitch is a confirmed fit according to Draw-Tite. I checked with them for you to confirm. Please note you will need to have the standard step bumper in order for the receiver tube to clear but there won't be any issues with the stepside bed.
I have attached a photo for you of this hitch installed on a similar 1966 Chevy C10 fleetside for reference.
