INTRO TO QUESTION: Thank you for explaining that the gears for TJD/TJDA-5000S are the same as for TJD-7000S-GR which is gear kit TJA-2000S-GR. Thanks also for directing me to watch your video for rebuild of TJD-7000S-HD... Yet, I cannot find video or pictures showing rebuild or inside views for TJD/TJDA-5000S. 2 QUESTIONS 1. Can TJD/TJDA-5000S be rebuilt using TJA-2000S-GR kit without special tools, cutting, or modifying the stock unit? 2. Are any videos/pictures available to assist in such a rebuild of TJD/TJDA-5000S?

The Square A-Frame Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Sidewind - 15-1/4" Travel - 3,000 lbs # TJDA-5000S does not currently have any inside photos or videos I can share.
The Replacement Gear Kit for etrailer and Ram Sidewind Jacks - 2,000 lbs and 5,000 lbs # TJA-2000S-GR will only work on round jacks and the Replacement Sidewind Gear Kit for etrailer and Ram Square, Direct Weld Jacks - 7,000 lbs # TJD-7000S-GR is what is needed for square jacks and some round jacks with the different square head unit. I've attached videos to assist as your disassembly and repair will be very similar. The number of teeth in the gears and the size of the gears are different so don't be thrown by the names of the products. I confirmed with the manufacturer the # TJD-7000S-GR is what you need for your jack.
There are not any special tools needed for your repair and there won't be any modification needed to the stock unit. There is no cutting involved, you will just need a screwdriver to remove the cap, a mallet or hammer to help drive out the roll pins, a small screwdriver or pick to allow you to just get the roll pin, and a needle nose pliers to hep pull it.
