Question:
I have a 2017 Subaru WRX STI Limited. I have read that many with this car are using the Eco-Hitch for towing hitch needs. I notice that most are using it for a bike rack. My question is: Can I tow a 16 foot jon boat with this setup? Thanks!

The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7257 is a great fit for your 2017 Subaru WRX STI Limited. It is rated for towing up to 3,500 lbs but Subaru does not recommend towing with your vehicle according to the owner's manual. Many customers have chosen to tow small trailers anyway and we have not heard of issues but it would be at your own risk.
If you decide to tow your 16 foot jon boat with this vehicle, you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56259 and a compatible ball mount like the Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit w/ 2 Zinc Balls - 4" Drop or Rise Item # AM3462 which gives you up to 4" of rise or drop. You will also need a hitch pin like # PC3 or a hitch lock like # AM3493 for additional security.
