Can Global Link RV Latch Lock Be Re-Keyed to Use Tube Key

Question:

I am interested in rekeying all of the locks on our camper with tubular cam locks. I’ve taken out the entry door latch lock and was only able to figure out how to remove the deadbolt cam, but not the pull lever cam. Our existing door latch looks like product # 295-000021 Do you know if this is replaceable, or what options might exist for us? In addition to the entry door, we have 6 additional exterior compartment cam locks to replace. Thank you.

My technical contact at Global Link advised that for their locks like # 295-000021 that you referenced which use a flat key they do not offer a tube-type re-keying kit.

We do have tubular key lock replacement parts from Camco, such as # CAM44303 and # CAM44293, but my contact there cautioned against trying to retro-fit one of these to another brand of lock. You would have to dismantle the current locks in order to see the cylinder length you need and he said it would be very tough to put things back together properly if it turns out that neither of these two kits fit.
