Question:
Can you use a tow dolly on a 2017 Honda Odyssey
asked by: Michael E
Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes. The 2017 Honda Odyssey must be towed on a tow dolly. Towing it with 4 wheels down behind your motorhome would damage the transmission. Towing with the front wheels off the ground is an acceptable way to tow your vehicle according to your owners manual.
I did a little research on your vehicle and the curb weight is between 4,396 lbs and 4,613 lbs depending on your features. This will make it too heavy for the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Self-Steering Wheels and Electric Brakes - 4,380 lbs # RM-2050-1 so I recommend the foldable # DM9713045 to give you more storage space.
