Are Mounting Brackets Adjustable on Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-3460BK

Question:

Are the mounting brackets movable on this storage tube? In other words, can they be slid in from the ends to mount underneath the a-frame tongue? Thank you!

The mounting brackets for the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-3460BK cannot be removed as they are fixed to the end caps, however they are technically adjustable as they will move outward/inward with the unit's telescoping action.

They cannot though be moved any further in from where they sit when the tube is at its shortest length of 34 inches. The tube can telescope out from there to up to 60 inches long.
