Question:
Which of your airbag systems would you recommend for a 2019 Colorado diesel towing a 5000 lb trailer

Expert Reply:
For the 2019 Chevy Colorado with diesel engine there are not any compatible air bag kits (as of April 2019) but we do have other suspension helper kits that can support the rear suspension when it is under the load of your 5000-lb trailer.
Based on your trailer weight I recommend the Super Springs kit # SSR-212-40. Their 1000-lb rating is just right for your trailer tongue weight and they will give you the support you need to prevent sag without causing the ride to become harsh. Their resistance is progressive, so when they first engage they will not be so stiff that they make the ride rough, but as they come under more load they will get stiffer.
This kit is a no-drill bolt-on install and it require no maintenance whatsoever once installed. These springs are USA-made. Please check out the two linked videos to see more on this SuperSprings kit.
