Question:

I received an order recently from etrailer with the bearings and seals that I needed except that I neglected to order seal rings to match my seals. Since I had buddy bearings and inner seal rings with existing installation I needed seals that would fit over seal rings . Im hoping you can use the information from the order above to help me either: a find the right seal rings or b find the seal that would work if seal rings were eliminated Thanks,

Based on my research the Redline Grease Seal # 29031 that you ordered is the correct seal for your 22834 hub (which is what I assume you have based on the # 2788 inner bearing and # 1779 outer bearing that you also purchased).

We do not have a ring available by itself for this seal but the seal should fit the spindles on your trailer perfectly without one. Just to make sure you can also measure the spindle where the grease seal rides with a digital caliper. If you get a measurement of 1.875 inches then it is the correct fit.

If you come up with a different measurement please let me know and I will be happy to see if we have something different that will work.
