Based on my research the Camco Water Heater Element # CAM02143 will indeed work to replace the original element on your Suburban SW6DEL model water heater. This will thread into your tank perfectly and its magnesium oxide and nickel-plated copper tubing will do a great job of resisting corrosion.
The only difference is that this replacement element will be a bit shorter than the original unit. This will not affect its performance.
