Can Trailer Valet Be Used on Inclines
Published 03/21/2019 >
Question:
Hi, We would like to use a trailer dolly like the Trailer Valet to back our travel trailer from a flat surface, down an incline into our yard. We were wondering, once the back and middle part of the trailer start to go down the incline, will it cause the tonge and trailervalet in the front to lift up off the ground, thus rendering the trailer dolly ineffective for maneuvering or braking? Or do the wheels of the dolly telescope downwards as the tongue of the trailer lifts up over the flat alley, while the back of the trailer is going down the incline?

I attached a picture that shows that the Trailer Valet XL # TVXL2 can handle inclines pretty well. As long as the ramp is concrete or pavement you should be fine. You'd most likely want to lead with the tongue of the trailer down the incline.
I also attached a review video for this product that shows it in use on the same incline.
