Question:

Will this fit my XC90 Inscription? It’s roof rails are flush...no space underneath between the rail and the car roof.

Thanks for the picture of the roof of your 2017 Volvo XC90! From that I can tell you have what is considered flush rails which while we have great roof rack fits for the Malone part # MPG216 would not fit as this rack system requires rails that are raised off of the roof that you could fit your hand under.

Instead you'd need a rack designed to attach to flush rails like the Rhino Rack roof rack part numbers # RRVA126B-2 and # RRSX040 which is a confirmed fit for your roof, installs easily, and has aerodynamic bars which will minimize wind noise. The install video I attached for this rack shows it installed on a similar Volvo as yours as well.
