Best option hitch for a flagstaff 529rbs fifth wheel with a turning point pin box behind a 2016 tiro. I’m currently deciding on a hitch for my new fifth wheel. The 5er is equipped with a turning point pin box. Do I go with A. Curt puck system B. Auto slider with the turning point pin box locked out C. Goose style connection Somewhat concerned with loosing stability by using the turning point pin box but others I have talked with seem to say they haven’t had any issues. 2016 titan xd pro4x crew can 6 1/2ft bed

The best option for your 2016 Nissan Titan XD with the factory puck system is the the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16K # C16515-16026. This hitch will still allow you to get the benefits of your Lippert Turning Point rotating pin box and not have to make any type of adjustments in terms of locking out or replacing it.
There really is no reason to go with a sliding hitch and locking out your Turning Point when there are viable, high-quality fixed fifth wheels you can use. The Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 and Demco Adapter # DM6200 would be the perfect option if your Flagstaff did not have the Turning Point but you would be adding a pretty significant and, frankly, unnecessary expense. As for using a Goose Box it does not rotate and you may not have the needed turning clearance with this option.
The Curt E16 isn't just a good option because it fits your '16 Titan XD, it also gives you a unique combination of quality, reliability and ease of use. To use this hitch with your Turning Point I recommend adding the Sidewinder Wedge for Curt A Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # # C16991.
