Question:

I am looking for a hitch for my 2018 Ram 3500 Mega Cab 4X4. I purchased the truck with the 5th wheel prep package and also have the auto level suspension. I have seen where some guys have said that they have run into issues with the height adjustment between the trailer and the bed rails. I am looking at putting in a Pullrite 2315 superglide but wanted to know if you have any suggestions.

The Pullrite SuperGlide 2315 is a great 5th wheel hitch in general however, it won't be best for your 2018 Ram 3500. The reason for this is because the height of it cannot be adjusted and the new Ram has pretty tall besides so you are going to need a 5th wheel hitch that can be adjusted vertically to account for this. For that, the best option we have for you that will allow you to retain the auto-slide function is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550035 with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter part # DM6099.

The Demco Hijacker is a bit better option than the Pullrite SuperGlide because in addition to the available height adjustments (15-1/4"+2", 16-1/2"+2", 18"+2"), the Hijacker has a 3/4" solid steel locking bar that spans the area in front of the jaw to provide an added barrier of protection against accidental disconnections which is not present on the SuperGlide. The gears on the Hijacker are also better protected when compared to the SuperGlide.
