The distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76138 while installed on a 2018 Mazda CX-5 is around 12-1/2". If you wanted to know what the distance is from the ground to the bottom of the collar on the receiver tube opening then you would subtract around 2-1/2" which would bring the ground clearance measurement to around 10". Please note that these measurements will not be exact as they can vary slightly based on tire size and the amount of cargo in the vehicle.
