What is the asterisk in the chart for the Canyon/Colarado? I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the Web site and couldnt find the footnote anywhere.

For the GMC Canyons there can be two different key designs for the truck which is why there's an asterick. What you need to do is compare the picture I attached to the key you have, and if your key matches one of the three pictures the BOLT Covered Padlock part # BL7023537 that you referenced is a confirmed fit.
