Dimensions of the Universal Roller Brackets for Boat Trailers # MBSPB

Question:

With the bracket slot side down on a flat surface what is the vertical distance from the center of the roller shaft hole to the flat surface? I need to know this measurement to make sure this bracket will fit with a 3inch keel roller in the space availible to help stabilize the boat keel at the bow when the boat is on the trailer. Thanks for your help.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Universal Roller Brackets, # MBSPB, to take some measurements for you. From the center of the hole to the nearest edge of the flat mounting surface measures 2-11/16 inches. The bracket is 1/8 inches thick so from the hole to the top of the bracket is 2-13/16 inches.

The overall length of the bracket is 7-1/2 inches. The mounting surface is 6-1/8 inches long. I have made some pictures that show these measurements for you.
