Hi, Can this bike rack be used on a front receiver hitch on my 2018 Ram 2500 as opposed to the rear of the vehicle? Thank you.

Yes, the Yakima LongHaul 4 Bike Rack # Y02476 referenced in your question can absolutely be used at the front of your 2018 Ram 2500 via a front mount hitch receiver.

As with any hitch-mounted rack used in this application you will just need to make sure that the rack doesn't obstruct your view too much. While it may not be a concern with your truck any object mounted to the front of a vehicle has the potential to reduce air flow to the engine so it will be a good idea to at least keep your eye on the temperature gauge during travel.

If you don't yet have a front hitch for your Ram 2500 I highly recommend the Draw-Tite # 65063 because it won't affect your ground clearance at all since it protrudes through the bumper (see attached image). I have attached an installation video and the written instructions that you can check out as well.
