What the width from the edge of the frame to the edge of the receiver tube

I reached out to my contact at Draw-Tite who said that the top of the receiver for the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader # 41504 sits about 7-3/8" below the frame of your 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup. Attached is a photo for you to reference as well as the installation instructions.

Since it is a little difficult to guesstimate where that crosstube is going to sit I asked my contact at Draw-Tite where the end of the receiver is compared to the closest bolt hole location and he said it's about 11-5/16" (see attached picture). This gives you a more definite way to measure how far the receiver will sit in regards to the frame of your vehicle.
