The ball size is typically stamped inside or on top of the coupler, however this information might be worn out or hard to read on an a trailer like yours that has been around for a while.

If you can't locate any size information then the next option is to verify the trailer's weight capacity or GVWR. This number can give an indication of the ball size, as different sizes will have different weight ratings.
