Question:
Will adding an additional transmission cooler to the factory one cause air flow issue. Or should I just replace the factory one, with a larger new one. Concern is towing travel trailers.

In regards to your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, if you will be removing the auxiliary transmission cooler then I recommend using the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13614 to replace it. This cooler measures 11" wide x 11-3/8" tall x 1-1/4" deep which you should have plenty of space for. In general we recommend that you install the supplemental transmission cooler in-line the factory transmission cooler (in radiator) and the auxiliary transmission cooler (behind grille) but this can sometimes cause decreased airflow to the radiator which would affect the engine's cooling power in addition to causing a drop in pressure for the transmission fluid lines. Therefore, so long as you were to use an acceptable size like the one listed above it is permissible to replace the factory auxiliary transmission cooler.
The install kit that the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler comes with has almost everything you need. However, there is an additional adapter needed, the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for GM part # D13018 or the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM part # D13035. In order to determine which one is correct you will need to look at how the factory lines lead into the radiator. If they use threaded fittings then you need part # D13018 but if they use press-in fittings then you need part # D13035.
