Question:

Good morning etrailer: My question this morning is on the window frame in the door of my 2019 Heartland Bighorn 3760EL. This trailer was built on 29 March 2018 My existing door window frame is the snap together type. I wanted to replace the stock factory glass with a Leaded Window Planel that I have. I tried to pry up the bottom of the frame and some internal clips broke off so I quit trying. I would like to replace this snap together frame with one that screws together. The dimensions of the existing frame are as follows. Inside. 12 5/8 x 21 5/8 Outside 15 5/8 x 24 5/8 The Leaded Glass I want to install is. 12 3/8 x 21 3/8 To me it looks like they have increased the frame and window size. I would need a frame and the screws. Please advise.

We have the Valterra Replacement Window Frame for RV Entry Doors - Exterior - Black # A77008 and interior frame # A77012. These will fit glass 21 inches by 12 inches so you would slightly need to trim the glass you have. Then you will use the Mounting Screws for Valterra Entry Door Window Frames - Black - Qty 12 # A7704812 because the hardware is designed for the is frame.

The same glass size can be used with the Lippert # LC363370 which is both the inside and outside frame.
