Question:
have a chance to buy two new tires 205x75x14 but my old ones are 215x75x14 ,can I use 205 without any problem?

Expert Reply:
The 215/75-14 tires that you have now are 26.7" diameter x 8.5" wide and the 205/75-14 tires that you are inquiring about are 26.1" diameter x 8.1" wide. Therefore, you should not have any clearance issues. However, there are also other factors you need to consider when selecting new trailer tires and those are load range and speed rating. The type of tire must also be noted as only special trailer (ST) and some light truck (LT) tires are rated for use on trailers
The best 215/75-14 tire we offer is the Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTR21514 which has a load range C (1,870 lbs) and a 81 mph speed rating.
