Can you leave the heater plugged in all winter or only when you know your going to use the machine

There isn't a set amount of time that the Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater # KH13150 can only be used. It can be used as long as needed. It automatically shuts off though when the coolant temps get above 175 degrees too.
