Should Tire Chains go On Rear Axle of 4WD Vehicle

Since my Tahoe is four-wheel-drive do I put the chains in the front

With snow chains you want to install them on the primary drive axle of the vehicle. For a 4WD Chevy Tahoe you would want to install them on the rear axle. You should also check the owners manual of your vehicle as well to determine if there are any tire chains restrictions as well.
