Recommended Ski/Snowboard Carrier for a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon with Integrated Crossbars

What ski/snowboard rack do you recommend for a Subaru 2018 Outback wagon with Integrated Crossbars, Im confused as far as where the rack would be mounted...do i mount the rack on the permanent side rails, or do i set up the crossbars and mount on them? thanks

I recommend going with a Yakima ski/snowboard rack for your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon because they feature the FatCat EVO which has a sleek modern design and the FreshTrack if you are looking for more of a retro style. These will mount to the OEM crossbars that you have as the side rails would be where you would attach a roof rack and not an actual carrier.
Both of these ski/snowboard carrier options come equipped with locks, oversized push buttons so you can operate them with your gloves on, and integrated SkiLift riser lifts for if you happen to have tall bindings.
