Question:
I have a 2015 Mazda CX5 AWD. I want to transport my 1975 Honda CB440F motorcycle which is 400lbs wet using the 76138 Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver and UF48-979033 Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2inch Hitches. I see that the Max-Frame is rated for 675lbs Tongue Weight and the Ultra-Fab is rated for 500lbs. Will I be able to transport the motorcycle safely using this setup?

Expert Reply:
All of the components you mentioned have the capacity needed for the weight of your CB, but your vehicle does not as it only has a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs so it would not be possible to use a hitch carrier. You'd have to use a small motorcycle trailer with the Draw Tite hitch part # 76138 instead.
For trailer wiring you'd then need the part # 118563.
