Question:
What is the mounted height top of mounting surface to top of ski rack difference between the included universal mounts on the FatCat and the Smart T-Slot 2 mounts?
asked by: Rob
Helpful Expert Reply:
The distance from the top of the crossbar to the top of the carrier while using the mounts that are included with the Yakima FatCat EVO like part # Y03095 is 4-5/8". This same distance while using the Aero Crossbar SmarT-Slot Kit 2 part # Y03098 is 3-1/2" therefore it will become about 1-1/8" shorter.
