The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank Heater Pad # 277-000163 can be wired to a switch like # PK34310 but it is not required for operation. The built-in thermostat will automatically turn on the pad when the tank's temperature reaches 45 degrees and automatically turn of when the temp rises to 67 degrees.
