Why Would Jeep Wrangler Not Shift Properly After Gear and Tire Size Swap
Question:
I have a 2015 jeep wrangler jku with a 3.5 inch lift and 35s. I recently got 4.88 gears put in the jeep and after adjusting everything with the superchip my transmission shifts high like the adjustment doesnt stick is there a way to check this?

Did you use the Calibrator # SU3571 to adjust for the gear swap and the tire size increase? Shift points are based on MPH, throttle position, and RPM so if the gear value isn't adjusted the vehicle won't know how to shift properly. If you did this already you might double check to make sure everything is set properly.
