I need to replace the door latch on my 1998 Featherlite trailer model # 8546, would this part fit?

I don't have any specs on the door latch for your 1998 Featherlite 8546 Trailer but so long as the door is between 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick and you have or can make a 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall cutout then the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019 will work for you.
