Crossbar Dimensions of Thule Adjustable Height Bed Rack 500XT

Question:
I need to know the width if the cross bar not the length. If it is more than 3.5 inches, Ill need to fabricate four small pieces to mount a Tepui tent. Thanks for your customer assistance. -

The Thule Xsporter ladder rack # TH500XT has crossbar dimensions that are 3-5/8 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches tall.
