The ladder rack that you can use with the Truxedo Lo Pro QT Tonneau Cover # TX598301 (6-1/2 Foot Bed without cargo management system) or # TX598701 (8 Foot Bed) needs to mount on top of your 2018 Ford F-150's bed rails.

The rack I highly recommend for that is the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-501 (6-1/2 Foot Bed) or # TH43003XT-000 (8 Foot Bed) because it will give your '18 F-150 a compatible ladder rack that offers a combination of durability, strength and adjustability.

The TracRac SR can be adjusted back and forth along the base rails and comes with four load stops which you can adjust on the crossbars to make carrying many different shapes and sizes of cargo much easier than with racks that are in a fixed position. This ladder rack has a 1,250 lb capacity, installs easily in the stake pockets of your F-150 and is made in the USA.
