Question:
Would vertical e track E19146 screwed to the wall tubes be able to hold a 1000 lbs load across two shoring beams? Is there a better way without thru bolting?

Expert Reply:
The Erickson Vertical E-Track part # EM19147 that you referenced has a 6,000 lb total weight capacity. If you were using two of them, one on each side with a beam in between then the weight capacity would then be doubled. Therefore, the tracks themselves are not going to be the weak link but rather how you anchor them.
It is going to be difficult to attach the tracks to a cylindrical pipe but it can be done. The best way in my opinion would be to make a backing plate with mounting holes for the track and then weld that to the pipe. Also, if the 2-3/4" centers on the track are larger than the diameter of the pipe then you could use a u-bolt with weld stops. The easiest way would be thru-bolting like you mentioned.
