Helpful Expert Reply:
For the 3.0L Engine on your 2008 Freightliner Sprinter 3500 you will need the external heater # KH13150 as there are no cartridge-style heaters available.
This is designed for 26 - 40-qt coolant systems and works to keep the fluid to your engine block, heater core, and radiator warmed for easier start-ups. The heater comes with a mounting bracket, hose clamps, 1 Y-tube, and 1 hose fitting as well. It is made in the USA and also comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
Please note that you should not use this heater with a 100-percent antifreeze solution and that you should unplug the heater before starting your engine.
