Does Blue Ox Patriot Braking System Need to be Reset After Shutting Off

Question:
With the blue ox patriot brake system, when I get on the road and then maybe stop for lunch or to get gas, do I have to go through the steps and set up the braking system again or are u able to shut the car off and the system stay on? I am new at this and not sure how it works? Thank you,

On the Blue Ox Patriot Braking System # BLU37TR anytime the unit is shut off for any period of time you will need to go through the set-up procedure again before hitting the road. The "set-up" procedure simply involves pushing the "SET-UP" button on the unit which will tell the actuator arm to pump the brake pedal once and then remain the ready position.
