I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2011 Ford Ranger and it looks like on page 149 that you can flat tow it if you have a manual transmission. If you have a 4WD with the automatic transmission then you can purchase an accessory from your local Ford dealer. If you have a 2WD automatic then you need to tow it with all 4 wheels off of the ground. Be sure to verify this and any specific instructions on flat towing in your copy of the owner's manual.
For a 4WD or the 2WD Sport I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate kit # 477-1 but if you have the 2WD XL or XLT then you would need XL Base Plate Kit # 477-5 instead. Either of these kits pair great with the Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 and Safety Cables # RM-643.
The wiring kit that I recommend using is the Flexo-Coil # RM-15267 which has utilizes a simple plug-in connection to flat tow after the initial installation.
Since most states require the use of a supplemental braking system I also recommend installing the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 if you have hydraulic brakes on your motorhome or the Air Force One # SM99243 if you have Air Brakes. Both of these install permanently on your Ranger but they are out of the way for when you aren't flat towing and easy to set up for when you do need to flat tow. The Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 will also need to be used to ensure that your brake lights work properly.
Most flat towing setups require a high-low adapter for the tow bar to remain level while towing. I have linked our selection of adapters for you to check out as well as an article that will help you determine which is the best one for your application.

Cant find the hitch adapters you talk about. The link takes you to accessories and there are none on the page.
