For your 2019 Mazda CX-5 with raised rails the Malone roof rack part number # MPG202 is a confirmed fit and would be a great option. This rack will give you an easy to install rack that will fit and work well on your vehicle so I recommend it for you. I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.
If you wanted to carry a kayak the Thule Hullaport part # TH848 is a great option. It can be folded down when not in use to help with wind noise and mileage and if ever needed you could carry a second kayak as well.
