Can Westin Truck-Pal Fold-Up Bed Ladder # 10-3000 be Used on 2018 Ford F-150 with Aluminum Bed

Question:
I have a 2018 ford F150 pick up truck with a aluminum body. I was told when I purchased the vehicle I should not use metal screws because that could cause corrosion. Should I be concerned with the fasteners?

The black screws of the Westin Truck-Pal Fold-Up Bed Ladder # 10-3000 are phosphate coated which means they would not corrode from dissimilar metals like what you are asking about which means this ladder would work well on your truck tailgate.
