Will the Adarac Aluminum Series Ladder Rack Work with Saddle Tool Boxes on a 2017 Ram 1500

Question:

How tall are the utility rails? Could I set my saddle style tool box on top of the rails?

The l-shaped rails on the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack are around 1-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" wide. They are not made specifically to work with a saddle style tool box but that is not to say it cannot be done either. It will just take a bit of ingenuity.

For your 2017 Ram 1500, you will want to use part # A4001235 if you have a 5-1/2' bed, part # A4001219 if you have a 6-1/2' bed, or part # A4001220 if you have an 8' bed.
