I just got a new battery for the monitor. Now the camera will not power on. Please help!

The monitor battery for the Swift Hitch part # SH02DIGITAL is the part # PB01 which shouldn't have affected the camera assemblies powering on. But the replacement battery for the camera is then # PB06. Is it possible it was the camera battery that had the problem and you replaced the wrong one?
