The Bulldog landing gear set part # BD500162 that you mentioned is designed to fit the standard landing gear dimensions so it should work well.
I attached a picture that shows the dimensions that this landing gear set would fit with.
The jacks would be the correct replacement for Lippert, Venture, and Atwood landing gear, as well as those from a few other manufacturers. The sure way to tell is that if the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram) is 17-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine. This is by far the most popular setup seen on trailers.
