Best Way to Carry Bike Rack with 2019 Kia Sportage

Hitch mounted bike racks are the best bike rack options. The reason is hitches offer the most secure way to mount a bike rack, they're easy to load and install/remove, and they don't touch any painted body panels. So you'd first need a hitch. For that the etrailer hitch item # e72TR is the best option as it has the best capacities for carrying a bike rack and has a concealed cross tube so it wouldn't be as visible as other hitches.

For a bike rack I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F.

This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.
