Can the Curt Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris be Used with Weight Distribution
Published 11/06/2018 >
Question:
I put this hitch on a 2016 Mercedes Metris. I was wondering if it is advisable to connect an Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch to this set up or if it causes too much strain. Please advise. Thank you.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13276 for your 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris is rated for use with a weight distribution system so although I do not recommend an Andersen Weight Distribution System, you can use one. In my opinion and several others, the best weight distribution system on the market is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System. This system has four point sway control which is pretty much unrivaled in terms of performance. It can also be used in reverse so long as the trailer stays relatively straight.
In order to choose the best Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System you will need to find your total tongue weight which is composed of the loaded ready to tow tongue weight of the trailer and any cargo stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Once you find this you can either let me know what that is or choose from the attached selection.
