Question:
Why is it flashing? Move manual brake actuator on unit goes away.

Expert Reply:
The NC flashing on your Prodigy P2 # 90885 means there is most likely corrosion on your 7-way where the 5 o'clock brake output pin determines trailer connection. I recommend cleaning that pin with some sandpaper and then putting some dielectric grease # 11755 on the connections to keep moisture and debris out. This will help prevent future corrosion as well.
The reason the NC goes away when you hit the manual override is the brake controller is sending more power to that pin so it surpasses the minimum draw. The cleaning should solve this unless the issue is with a ground connection or shorted brake output wire.
Let me know if this doesn't solve your issue and we can continue to troubleshoot.
